Work sessions are for Swift contributors to discuss implementation details and making quick progress over specific issues, in a small work group environment.
metadata search/object update notification
swift should be able to send metadata to a message queue to allow easier integration with (external) metadata search engines. a unified REST api for searching might be helpful as well (this should connect to the external metadata search engine then).
